Close to Home statement

We all know what happened when Covid hit. Borders closed, schools closed, we all worked from home.

Thankfully in the lead up to Covid I had launched The Artists Business Lounge - an online business coaching visual artists in all things art business. Naturally, I didn't travel much or exhibit much during this time, so these works largely reference local places, or places I had already visited. Some of these works haven't left the studio. By the time the world opened up again and I was ready to exhibit, I had moved on to quite different work.
